Who we are

aapta.store is operated by Aapta Solutions, founded 2007 and based in Bangalore and Hyderabad, India. We serve clients globally. For questions about this policy, email hello@aapta.store.

What we collect

We keep data collection minimal. Specifically:

• Information you give us directly: name, email, country, and any message you send via the contact form, a booking, or email. When you book a paid consultation, we collect payment details via our processors (Stripe or Razorpay) — we don't store card numbers ourselves.
• Automatic information: standard web analytics (pages viewed, device type, approximate location from IP) via Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. This is aggregated and not personally identifying.
• Cookies: essential cookies for the site to function, plus analytics cookies you can opt out of.

How we use it

• To reply to your questions or deliver a service you've booked
• To process payments for bookings you've made
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts) — only when you've initiated a request
• To improve the site and content based on aggregate analytics

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers outside industry-standard Google/Meta pixels, or use it for profiling.

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers we need to run the service:

• Google (Analytics, Workspace) — analytics + email delivery
• Microsoft (Clarity) — session analytics
• Stripe — international payment processing
• Razorpay — India payment processing
• Firebase (by Google) — authentication + data storage
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure
• Cloudflare — DNS + security + CDN

All providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data-processing agreements.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or similar laws. At minimum, you can always:

• Ask us what data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your data
• Opt out of marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link)
• Disable analytics cookies via your browser settings

Children's privacy

aapta.store is not directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

Data retention

We keep your data only as long as we need it — typically: booking records for 7 years (accounting + tax), support emails for 3 years, analytics for 26 months (Google Analytics default). After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

International transfers

Our providers (Google, Stripe, Vercel, Cloudflare) transfer data across borders. All use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page. Continued use of aapta.store after changes means you accept the new policy.
